As a senior healthcare executive and registered nurse, I offer 43 years of clinical experience combined with 34 years of progressive leadership at both senior and executive levels. My areas of expertise include nursing leadership, clinical operations, quality, regulatory compliance, and support services. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to transformational leadership, consistently working to enhance organizational performance, clinical quality, patient experience, and workforce stability.
Executive Experience
With more than 26 years of executive oversight in acute care settings and 6 years in clinical oversight within long-term care environments, I have extensive experience across both clinical and quality domains. My background also includes serving as Vice President of Operations and Administrator, leading hospitals and state-wide Department of Public Health initiatives to address the COVID crisis. I am adept at strategic planning and execution across multi-site inpatient and outpatient operations, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to the constantly evolving healthcare landscape. My leadership strengths include improving patient experience, implementing evidence-based practices, driving performance improvement, and supporting nursing recruitment and retention. With an extensive background in senior healthcare executive positions, I have served in roles such as Vice President/Chief Nursing Executive, Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Administrative Officer. My work across multiple Interim Executive positions has provided me with a broad understanding of various organizational cultures and implementation strategies. I have developed specialized expertise in leadership development, focusing on enhancing patient experience and driving employee engagement initiatives. Throughout my career, I have consistently led complex projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring comprehensive service coverage. My approach is calm and collaborative, firmly rooted in Transformational Leadership principles. I am highly goal-driven, with a proven track record of achieving organizational objectives, advancing clinical quality, improving patient satisfaction, and addressing critical nursing challenges such as recruitment and retention. My experience includes successfully managing organizational change, inspiring and educating staff at all levels.

I am well-versed in the complexities of diverse healthcare facilities, including community hospitals, teaching hospitals, health system affiliates, government-operated hospitals, long-term care centers, and State Health Departments. My experience extends to both unionized and non-unionized environments. Recently, my professional focus has been on interim roles, which require rapid operational assessments and agile problem-solving skills to adapt to a variety of organizational cultures.
Strategic Planning and Program Implementation
I have been actively involved in strategic planning and have been accountable for program implementation aligned with organizational goals. My responsibilities included oversight of multiple inpatient and outpatient nursing units, as well as clinical services across various locations. I successfully led a facility start-up and managed two Department of Public Health COVID Crisis response projects. My leadership has emphasized applying current evidence-based standards for optimal clinical care, preparing for regulatory compliance, identifying and implementing performance improvement initiatives, instructing staff on operational and staffing budgets, creating and executing tailored nursing recruitment and retention plans, and monitoring and improving patient experience outcomes.
